Hi Friends! I'm Amaris.
I am a Chicana Millennial, Dog Mom, Illustrator, and Sculptor from the Midwest with a BFA in Drawing and Illustration and a Minor in Art History.
I have previously worked as an Art Programmer and Artist in Residence for adults with disabilities for 4 years, a 6-month residency with a Public Library to create a community sourced Children's Book, and have continued to freelance teaching watercolor courses and children's programming. I am always looking for a great community arts project!
I aim to extend positivity and joy through whimsical art, dream of a Master's in Art Therapy, and plan to create children's books in the near future.
